A contemporary castle is up for sale in Ireland.
Built seven years ago, An Culu in Killarney, County Kerry, translates as "retreat from the world".
Estate agent Knight Frank describes the castle's decoration as Jacobean and Tudor, but with the comfort and luxury of modern living.
With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, it goes down the traditional route with its own moat and drawbridge, as well as an estate stretching out over five acres of woodland.
"An Culu would suit someone keen to live in an Irish castle, but a castle with a difference: one equipped with all the luxuries of the twenty-first century," commented a spokesperson for Knight Frank on aboutproperty.co.uk.
While film star Nicolas Cage recently paid around £5 million for his castle near Bath, An Culu is on the market for 15 million (nearly £10.5 million).
Mr Cage's Grade I listed purchase is shaped like the ace of clubs, contains seven bedrooms and has two adjacent cottages.
The Irish castle in turn offers views of Kerry's Kenmare estuary, a lift that services its three floors, a conservatory and an indoor pool with a sauna and steam room.
